| Looks a helluva lot better than what I've got. This lag is screwing me over in-game. The thing is, I blame my Intel graphics card, although some of the blame lies with Nexon for not coding better. That being said, I do sometimes lag in Minecraft, but then again, it's single-threaded and runs on Java. Pretty much everything else is fine. |

| Wait, what are you talking about? He's listed the parts at the top and wants our opinion of them. I think he already knows how much he's going to spend. |

| Anyone can give input if they want to... Ninjaian14 is obsessed with Nvidia for no particularly rational reason and I think it would be best if Randomprsn got a broad view of the computer hardware world since this is his first time making something like this.
@Randomprsn: I'd first look into what you would want in a computer to decide what to buy and then start googling potential problems for your parts and see if complaints start coming up (for example google "ATI 5990 Sapphire overheating" to see if people are having that kind of problem) _________________ |

| That's fine, ninjaian14. And it doesn't take much to see his obsession with Nvidia. Wasn't that long post about graphics cards the only one he's ever bothered to color, spell-check (sort of), format, etc? Anyway, if there's no spending limit, you might find it helpful to consider each part of your computer one at a time, compare each possibility for that component, and then collate it into a whole. Like Daraku said, if you search a part and find problems with it, either hardware problems like overheating or software problems like compatibility issues, then cross it off the list. On a side note, does anyone else find the Alienware "portable" laptops slightly comical? I respect Alienware for making gaming computers, but I'd say there's a difference between "I can lift this," and "This is portable." |

| His spending limit I believe is 1500 AUD which is 1570.5 USD I believe. Nvidia There is this thing I found called the Physics Card or the PhysX Nvidia Here is some information about them: http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_new.html What people think of it from 3years ago: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=41892 |
